Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken Stuffing
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts π
1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix πΎ
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup π²
1 cup sour cream π₯
1/2 cup chicken broth π₯£
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese π§
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder π§
1/2 teaspoon onion powder π§
Salt and pepper to taste π§πΆοΈ
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) πΏ
Directions:
1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Stir until well mixed.
3. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
4. Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly over the soup-covered chicken.
5. Cover the stuffing with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
7. Once done, remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and shred them with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the stuffing and cheese.
8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
